Both “EastEnders” and “Snow White and the Huntsman” featured Kent.

After dealing with ongoing health issues, the actor Darren Kent, who starred in Game of Thrones, passed away. He was 39.
In a post on Tuesday on X (formerly known as Twitter), Darren Kent talent agency, Carey Dodd Associates, announced his passing.
“Darren Kent died away peacefully on Friday, we must inform you with great grief. He was a close friend and client of ours. The message read, “His parents and best friend by his side. We are praying for his family through this trying time, and we adore them. Goodbye, my friend.
Kent was 39 years old at the time of his death, Samantha Dodd of the Carey Dodd Associates said CNN. A cause of death was not given by Dodd.

The Essex, England-born actor, who is most known for playing a goatherder from Slavers Bay in an episode of the popular HBO drama series Game of Thrones, has also made appearances in the long-running British TV soap EastEnders and the 2012 feature Snow White and the Huntsman.
The BBC rendition of Les Misérables, Bloody Cuts, Shameless, and Community are among his other credits. He has also appeared in Marshal’s Law.
Mirrors, a 2008 horror film, gave him his first important role. In the movie Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, which came out on March 31, he most recently played a reanimated corpse.
For his performance in the short Sunny Boy, Kent received the best actor honor at the 2012 Van D’or Independent Film Awards.
Additionally, he produced and directed a number of other short films, including You Know Me (2020) and Rogue Trader (2019), both of which won January Awards.

Osteoporosis, arthritis, and a rare skin condition were among the many long-term health problems Kent had.
As he depicted a little boy with a unique skin ailment that prevents him from being in the sun, Sunny Boy revealed him drawing inspiration from his own life.

According to the BBC, Kent supported Equal People Performing Arts, a nonprofit that encourages diversity in the performing arts. On X, Lee Mead, a fellow patron, paid tribute to his deceased buddy by calling Kent “an amazing human being.”
He is always so upbeat and generous with his time. Darren Kent was also a great actor and accomplished a lot. The news is very tragic,” Mead continued.

Jane Gull, who collaborated with Kent on the National Film Award-winning 2023 film Love Without Walls, also paid tribute to the late actor on X by posting a number of pictures of him in public.
What a gift it was to be your friend throughout the years, she wrote, and to collaborate with you on so many initiatives. When you’re gone, life won’t be the same. You are greatly missed by me.
