The “Recession” Doesn’t Need to Stop Your Green Career Dreams!

It’s hard to ignore new stories about the state of our economy. Oil prices, the mortgage crisis, the loss of non-farming jobs all indicate we are on shakey ground at best.Although you may be tempted, in light of the economic news, to hunker down in your current job and put aside your dream of having a green career, this is not the time to step back from your green career goals. In fact, there are a number of reasons to suggest it is actually a great time to continue your quest for a green career.Large Scale, Economy Reasons– Certain areas of the green economy are hopping! Many smaller companies are swallowed up in acquisitions by large companies. The impact of the economic downturn on employment in the Food Manufacturing Industry affects automation and technology purchasing also, as these allow companies to operate at even higher output levels with fewer employees, adding to less employment in food manufacturing jobs. The more 0live0 a vegetable or fruit is, the more enhanced is its etheric energy, the life force of the plant world. However, predominantly raw food diets are met best by a healthy etheric force in the individual eating them. If one0s etheric is depleted, by either illness or exhaustion, lightly cooked foods are easier to assimilate. For most people a balance of raw and cooked works best.
